The archaeological places, valleys and sacred
mountains in Watta Kfarhouna. Has always been a refuge for the
persecuted and fugitives from injustice, in the
sloping plateau directly from Kfarhouna to wata
kfarhouna until down to Mlikh village , Found
previously pieces of different sizes, Ceramics
and pottery which was indicative of the
existence of human societies were living there

to Phoenician times. the first archaeological
Studies in kfarhouna have shown that it was
inhabited by Romanian and Byzantine eras.
Research, and the excavations in Ain Kfarshana
specifically in Bear Castle, shows some remains
of stone sarcophagi. It is be archaeological
remains, dating back to the Phoenician and
Byzantine eras.
It was discovered that wata Kfarhouna and
Tunus Valley near of Mlikh village was an
important summer resorts for the people of Sidon
in the Phoenician times, because of the large
lowlands and the passage of the river in the
middle, which was known as Numidie River
